How can we help?
Email us and a real person from our small team will read it and reply.
What to include
- Which app you use, for example My Pain Journal.
- Your phone model and its iOS or Android version.
- What you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot, if it helps show the problem.
Please do not send us your health entries or backup files unless we ask. We do not need them to help in most cases.
Moving to a new phone or restoring a backup
Your entries live only on your phone. To move them, make a backup on the old phone and restore it on the new one.
- On the old phone, open the app, go to Settings and tap Backup (JSON).
- Save the file somewhere you can reach from the new phone: your files app, a cloud drive, or an email to yourself.
- On the new phone, install the app from the App Store or Google Play and open it.
- Go to Settings, tap Restore from backup and choose the file.
Restoring replaces the data it restores into, and the app asks you to confirm first. In most apps a backup holds one profile, so make one backup per profile. In My Migraine Journal a backup holds every profile.
Questions for every app
Is there a subscription?
No. Each app is $4.99 once. There is no subscription, nothing else to buy, and no ads.
Do you see my data?
No. Everything you enter stays on your phone. There is no account, and nothing is sent to us.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple and Google. Request a refund through the App Store (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (your order history). If you get stuck, email us.
Reminders do not show up
Make sure notifications are allowed for the app in your phone settings, then set the reminder time again in the app. Battery saver modes on some Android phones can delay reminders.
Questions about each app
My Blood Pressure Journal
Which categories does it use?
The American Heart Association categories: Normal, Elevated, Stage 1, Stage 2, and a warning for very high readings. The app shows the category; it does not diagnose anything.
Can I change my goal?
Yes. Open Settings and set the goal range that you and your doctor agreed on.
My Blood Sugar Journal
Can I switch between mg/dL and mmol/L?
Yes, in Settings. Your readings are converted for display.
Is the estimated A1C the same as a lab test?
No. It is an estimate from the readings you logged. Your lab A1C is the one that counts, and you can log it in the app.
My Migraine Journal
Can I log an attack from yesterday?
Yes. Tap any day on the calendar to log for it.
Can I add my own triggers and symptoms?
Yes. Add your own and they appear in the log form alongside the built-in ones.
My Pain Journal
How does the app decide what a flare-up is?
It takes your usual level (the middle of your daily peaks) and counts a day as a flare day when its peak is at least 2 points higher and at least 7 out of 10. It needs at least 5 logged days.
Can I add my own body locations?
Yes. Add your own locations, triggers and medications and they are saved for next time.
My Mood Journal
Which breathing exercises are included?
Box breathing, 4-7-8 breathing and a calm breathing pacer, plus 5-4-3-2-1 grounding and a daily reflection prompt.
Which phones does it work on?
iPhone and Android. The buttons on the My Mood Journal page show where you can download it today.
